Privacy Policy

How Spontio collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data for consumers, businesses, admins, and visitors.

Who we are

Spontio operates a local marketplace where consumers discover nearby offers and businesses manage venues, campaigns, redemptions, billing, and support.

For privacy requests, contact Spontio through the support contact published in the app or on spontio.com.

Data we collect

Consumer data may include name, email, password hash, age range, gender, category preferences, home location coordinates, notification preferences, saved coupons, redemptions, push tokens, and account activity.

Business data may include user accounts, team membership, business name, legal name, billing profile, venues, campaigns, credits, invoices, support actions, disputes, moderation history, and Stripe-related payment metadata.

Visitor and waitlist data may include submitted contact details, launch area interest, marketing attribution fields, referrer, user agent, and approximate location signals used for launch planning.

How we use data

We use data to provide accounts, local discovery, saved coupons, redemptions, business dashboards, billing, fraud/risk review, support, launch planning, and product analytics.

Transactional notifications are used for account, invitation, moderation, waitlist, billing, dispute, and coupon-reminder workflows. Marketing email is handled separately from required transactional messages.

Processors and sharing

Spontio uses service providers for hosting, payments, email delivery, push notifications, analytics, logs, and customer support operations.

Current launch subprocessors include Laravel Cloud or equivalent hosting, Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for transactional email sending, and Expo for push notification delivery.

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only where needed to operate the service, comply with law, prevent abuse, or complete a user-requested workflow.

Your rights

Consumers can request export or deletion of their mobile profile. The API supports authenticated privacy export and deletion flows for consumer accounts.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection where applicable under GDPR or other privacy laws.
